Facebook has released Messenger desktop version for Windows and Mac OS computers. Facebook has released a desktop version of Messenger to help people stay in touch with each other in the wake of the announcement of the Lockdown.
Video calling is possible through this app. This allows you to send messages and group video calls. Chats on desktop and mobile can be used together.
Facebook Messenger Vice President Stan Chudnovsky said in the past one month, video and audio calling through browsers has increased by messenger.
“We hope this will make it easier for friends and loved ones to get in touch,” he said.
Messenger desktop app can be downloaded from Microsoft Store and the Mac App Store. Facebook’s WhatsApp Messenger also has a separate desktop version, but no video calling feature.
